Being home is much more stressful than I thought it would be. I not only have to deal with James' anger issues, but I'm also playing designated driver for 4 females (2 of which don't speak english) when I don't have a car. I'm bring pressured by mother to get a job and become independent (I'm trying!), and my dad doesn't help at all except to tell me off.
I find it quite unfair that while James gets to drive the pilot (he only drive in Diamond Bar and Rowland Heights), I need to not only find a car for less than $8000 (has to be 4 door, dealership, automatic, under 100000 miles, easy on insurance, and an asian brand...I found a 99 toyota camry with 107000 miles, 4 cycliner), but I have to drive to Riverside everyday back and forth for not only the summer, but also the next school year...on top of finding a job and taking classes. I would think that the longer drive would warrant a more "safe" car, but my dad argues..."James has had the car for a year already, it would be mean to make him give it up...Oh, and it's your responsibility to drive everyone around and find a car." -Yeah, thanks dad.
More on James... he seems to have stolen my computer (Elina found it in a closet), 2 internet cables, my cell phone, my ipod, and my house keys. (Maybe more, but I haven't noticed anything missing). Oh, and yesterday, he threw his breakfast at me (from atleast 10 feet away, causing it to spill all over the garage floor) because he was angry that I bought him breakfast. Who gets angry that someone buys them breakfast? And who throws said breakfast back at them?! What a waste of food. He also threw away anything I got him from HK into the trash. -Mom said to be nice to him, to show him I care. Well guess what mom, he just threw it right back in my face.
I just want to get away, to take a break. It would be nice to be able to do what James does, to run away as soon as he's upset. Or even just to use anger to defend. After all, if he always gets angry at people when people get even unhappy with him, the issue at hand always gets deflected to calm him down.
You can't get angry with people and not expect them to forget that you were angry at them. You don't make people cry and then assume the next day that everything is okay. It doesn't work that way. Whenever you anything, there's a chain of actions behind it. There aren't always no consequences. I'm tired of just accepting your anger and "forgetting" it the next day when you're happy again only to have you get mad at me or someone else an hour later. It's not even reasonable anger.
Do everyone a favor, be more patient and control your anger. If you think it's genetic. Go get it checked out.
Don't take it out on us.
